I can speak from personal experience on this one. When I had social anxiety, it was very difficult for me to wait some people in the optics. Information technology made me panic and my claret pressure level ascension. It had nothing to exercise with the person but with the social anxiety.

During this time, fifty-fifty if I was talking to a close friend and I looked them in the optics I could feel my blood force per unit area rising and I'd offset to panic. This normally doesn't happen to me especially with friends, so I knew information technology was social anxiety.

They may think that you don't care what they are saying so they will avoid center contact because they don't feel of import enough.

#6 Reason for No Eye Contact – They Are Hiding Something

I've been in the position of fugitive heart contact with a friend when I was having an emotional solar day. I didn't want to burst into tears. It was easier to not look at them and maintain command over my emotions than to have them run across I was upset or to ask me what was wrong and accept me burst into tears.

Besides, people just don't have any interest in speaking with someone sometimes if they are having a bad solar day. They are dealing with their own problems and avoid eye contact, so they don't take to talk to someone if they really aren't into it that day.

#8 Reason for No Eye Contact – They Don't Desire Y'all to Call up They Like Yous or Come up Across as Flirty

People of the contrary sex activity sometimes won't maintain eye contact considering they are worried that yous will recall they are flirting. They don't want you to get the wrong idea or think that they are flirting in any way. So, they will avert heart contact with you.

I am not as familiar with Autism and Asperger's, simply through my research, I've come across reports that ostend individuals with autism are less likely to maintain eye contact. The reports say it is uncomfortable and stressful, only do not indicate whether it is due to a neurological crusade or because of the social situation.

#10 – They Feel Guilty

If someone feels guilty about something (even if they didn't exercise anything wrong), they volition have a more difficult fourth dimension maintaining heart contact. They feel bad and will probably have a hard time looking you in the eyes.

Just as a little child may look downwardly and feel guilty when an adult is getting mad, an adult may do the same thing. They experience ashamed and probably won't be looking you in the optics.

Terminal Thoughts – Why Someone Might Avoid Looking You In The Eyes  While Speaking with You

There can be many reasons as to why someone won't make eye contact when having a conversation with you. Information technology definitely doesn't hateful they don't like you; it can be a variety of reasons. You have to consider the circumstances and your relationship with that person. They may just take a crush on yous, and you have no idea!
